If “The Handmaid's Tale” disappointed me, then I liked its sequel so much! There was more action in this book, more about everything inside Gilead, how it came to be, what was going on there, and how it all happened afterwards. I probably needed it, so it came up with a lot more fun.
Of course, if you don’t read “The Handmaid's Tale”, everything is much harder to understand, especially when some details of the story are intertwined.
